Place the unit upright on a level surface, away from walls and obstructions. Plug it into a grounded outlet and press the power button to begin operation.

Do I need to install a drainage hose?

No, but it’s optional. You can either use the internal water bucket or attach a hose (not included) to the rear port for continuous drainage.

Can I use this in a basement or garage?

Yes, this model is ideal for basements and medium to large rooms. Ensure the space is within the operating temperature range (above 41°F / 5°C).

Operations and Feature

What humidity level should I set it to?

For general comfort, set humidity between 45%–50%. For mold prevention in basements, 35%–40% is recommended.

Does this model restart after a power outage?

Yes. The auto-restart function resumes previous settings when power is restored.

Is there a timer function?

Yes. You can schedule automatic start or stop in 1-hour increments (up to 24 hours).

Maintenance and Cleaning

How often should I clean the filter?

Clean the filter every 2 weeks or more often in dusty environments. Rinse with water and dry thoroughly before reinstalling.

What if the bucket fills up quickly?

You can empty it manually or connect a hose to enable continuous drainage.

How do I know if the tank is full?

The unit will automatically stop and display a “Full” indicator on the control panel.
